There was a lunar eclipse in Melbourne today, at night. My whole year level gathered at our school at about 7pm to watch the Earth's shadow go over the moon.
It's a really good thing to see, especially with binoculars. The moon goes a cloudy shade of red, and then a dark shadow goes over the moon. It's really cool.
